When you are struggling with discouragement in your parenting, you need personal connection and a fresh dose of hope!

Parenting struggles can feel so isolating.

Do other people have this problem?

What would other moms think if they knew my child does this?

Is this normal, or do we need professional help?

Books and articles can be helpful. But sometimes you just need to talk to another mom and know that you are heard and understood.

Schedule a private coaching session today and we'll work through your concerns together.

No judgement.

No shame.

No criticism.

There are so many "right ways" to parent. Usually when you're up against a parenting challenge, you don't need to be told you're doing it wrong. You just need some fresh ideas and a heaping helping of encouragement!

Group Coaching Program vs. Private Coaching Program

Both of these options are an eight-week program, cover the same basic material, and include free access to the Biblical Parenting University resources.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I book a coaching session?

After you book your single-session coaching appointment, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to a Zoom meeting scheduled at the time of your appointment. You'll also receive two reminder emails leading up to your session to make sure you have the information you need.

What happens after I join the waitlist for a coaching program?

Once you join the waiting list for either the Group Coaching Program or the Private Coaching Program, you'll receive an email with a link to an new-client questionnaire. Please complete this questionnaire as soon as possible. Once I have your form on file, I can find a Group Coaching cohort that will be the best fit for you, or let you know when I have a slot available for a Private Coaching Program.

Note: If you join both waiting lists, you will receive two similar emails with links to the New Client Questionnaire. You only need to complete this form once, even if you join both waiting lists.

Is this a faith-based program?

I am a Christian and many of my resources are based on and make use of passages of Scripture. Biblical Parenting University is also a resource created from a Christian perspective. The Group Coaching Program and the Private Coaching Program will include faith-based discussion and resources, but, with this knowledge, anyone is welcome to participate regardless of their faith perspective.

Single-Session coaching is more flexible. We can have a faith-based or a faith-neutral conversation, as you prefer.

What is Biblical Parenting University?

Biblical Parenting University is a storehouse of videos and print resources we'll use as we go through the Heart Lab coaching program. Biblical Parenting University was developed by Scott Turansky and Joanne Miller, founders of the National Center for Biblical Parenting - the organization that provided my parent coaching training and certification.

If you'd like to see some introductory videos that give an overview of the program, click the button below and complete the contact form. I'll send you a link via email so that you can check it out!

How do I get access to Biblical Parenting University?

Single-Session Coaching

If you book a single-session coaching appointment, just email me to let me know you'd like to access Biblical Parenting University and I'll be happy to share a discount code and a direct link that you can use to purchase access at 75% off.

Heart Lab Coaching

If you purchase either the Group Coaching Program or Private Coaching Program, I will personally enroll you in Biblical Parenting University and you'll receive your account information from Biblical Parenting University directly.

Can I book a coaching session AND join a waiting list?

Absolutely. If you need help right away, you can book a single-session coaching appointment while you wait for an opportunity to participate in the coaching program. Keep in mind, however, that before completion of the Heart Lab Coaching program, Single-Session coaching is $49 per session. However, after you complete the Heart Lab Coaching program, you can schedule follow-up Single-Session coaching for only $29 each. It's up to you how urgent your concern is.

Can I join both waiting lists?

Yes, you may definitely put your name on both waiting lists. If a spot becomes available in either the Group Coaching Program or the Private Coaching Program, you will be notified and you can decide if you'd like to take advantage of that opportunity or wait for the other option. In order to make sure that as many parents as possible have access to the Heart Lab Coaching Program, you may only enroll in one program or the other at one time.

Note: If you join both waiting lists, you will receive two similar emails with links to the New Client Questionnaire. You only need to complete this form once, even if you join both waiting lists.

Do you offer a payment plan?

At this time we are unable to offer a payment plant. If cost is an issue, I recommend scheduling single-session coaching appointments so that you can pay for each individually as you are able.

If you are on the waiting list for a coaching program, this is a good time to start setting aside funds for that program. If I contact you about an opening and you haven't had a chance to set aside the full cost, you can decline the opportunity and I'll be happy to notify you later of the next opening.

What platform do you use for virtual coaching sessions?

Currently we are using Zoom for virtual coaching.

Can my husband participate in the coaching sessions?

Yes, absolutely. The fee you pay for any coaching sessions includes your spouse or co-parent. Only the email address used to register for the program will receive the meeting link, but you may share that link with your spouse or co-parent only.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Single-Session Coaching

If you are unable to attend a Single-Session Coaching appointment, you can always reschedule via the link in your confirmation email or any of your reminder emails. There is no charge for rescheduling.

However, if you wish to cancel and not reschedule, please cancel your appointment at least 30 minutes prior to the appointment start time and request a refund by replying to the email confirming your cancelation. You will be refunded the cost of your session minus a $5 processing fee.

Group Coaching Program

Because we require a minimum number of participants in order to begin a new Group Coaching Program, we are unable to refund your tuition if doing so means that your group drops below the minimum requirement.

However, if we have enough group members to maintain the minimum requirement without your participation, you may request a partial refund.

If no group coaching sessions have yet occurred, you may receive the maximum refund of $99. For each group coaching session that has already occurred, we will deduct $49 from your maximum refund. After three coaching sessions, no refund will be offered.

Regardless of when you request a refund, you will retain access to Biblical Parenting University. You will not be eligible for $29 follow-up sessions.

Note: If for some reason due to no fault of your own, the Group you joined is not able to begin (such as failing to reach the minimum number of participants), you will have the option to wait for the next available group or receive a complete refund of the enrollment fee you paid.

Private Coaching Program

You may request a partial refund at any point in the program. If you request a refund before the first coaching session has occurred, you will receive the maximum refund of $299. For each coaching session that has already occurred, we will deduct $49 from your maximum refund. After four coaching sessions, no refund will be offered.

Regardless of when you request a refund, you will retain access to Biblical Parenting University. You will not be eligible for $29 follow-up sessions.

What if I can't attend a group coaching session?

Group coaching sessions will be recorded and made available only to the participants of the group. You can review the video and email with any follow-up questions you have.

What if I can't attend a private coaching session?

Sessions in the Private Coaching Program are scheduled at your convenience so you can always cancel and reschedule if needed. It is strongly recommended that you schedule your sessions at roughly the same time every week to keep a consistent pattern of learning and practice, however, there is some flexibility. You will have 90 days to complete all eight of your private coaching sessions once you begin the program.

Are you a professional therapist or counselor?

No. This is a really important distinction. I am not a licensed therapist or healthcare professional of any kind. I'm a mom who has lots of experience with her own kids, training from the National Institute of Biblical Parenting which involved a supervised practicum, and experience coaching parents since then.

If your child is struggling with trauma, abuse, suicidal ideation, self-harm or other mental health challenges, I strongly urge you to find a therapist or other mental health professional in your local area. I'm certainly happy to talk to you about knowing when to seek professional help, but I in no way meet that qualification.

I have the greatest appreciation for professionals in this field. This is why I refer to myself as a "coach" and not a "counselor". A coach is not an alternative to proper mental health care. A coach is an experienced friend who can help walk you through parenting challenges.
